Start your program: mandatory level test
Your program is based on a simple level test to create a personalized and safe plan for your heart.
Two types of tests are available:
VO2 max test (Maximum Aerobic Speed)
6-Minute Walk Test
Option 1 — Guided test in the app (recommended)
Open Formyfit
On the homepage, scroll down
Go to Assessment Tests → Initial VO2 max test
Click Go
Listen carefully to the instructions
Only give it your all after the 17-minute warm-up and 3-minute rest. You will then need to run for 3 minutes in one direction, turn around, and try to return to the starting point. You must have given your all by the end of these 6 minutes. Finish with a 10-minute walk to recover.
Save the session
? To find your VMA:
Home → History
Click on View all statistics
Locate the 6-minute lap (the 20th lap)
? The displayed speed corresponds to your VMA (km/h)
? Then, enter your data:
Activity → Training plan → "Fitness" or other goal
Enter:
Your VMA (km/h)
Your maximum heart rate recorded during the test
or 220♂/226♀ – your age if you don't have a sensor. Ex: a 36-year-old woman, maximum heart rate = 190
Option 2 — Automatic test via the training plan
Activity → Training plan
Choose Fitness
The application will automatically offer you the test
Take it only once
? The training plan is created automatically
Option 3 — You already know your values
Activity → Training Plan → Fitness
Choose x sessions/week
Click on I know my level
Enter:
Your VMA (Maximum Aerobic Speed)
Your maximum heart rate (or 220 bpm for men / 226 bpm for women – your age if you don't have a heart rate monitor)
Result
You get a personalized training plan, perfectly safe and adapted to your heart condition.
